A Ligue 1 prediction league — in France a group of pronostics, or just "les pronos" — is a season-long game where every member predicts the score of each match before kickoff and earns points for how close they get. Whoever accumulates the most points across the season wins.

How does scoring work in a Ligue 1 prediction league?
BeTeam's default is 3 points for the exact scoreline, 1 point for the correct outcome with the wrong score, and 0 for a miss. The organizer can change the weights, add bonus questions, and switch on multipliers — including relative scoring, which doubles the points when 10% or fewer of the group called the result. Predictions lock at kickoff and points are calculated automatically.
How do you keep the league competitive when one club dominates?
Relative scoring. When everyone in the group backs the favourite and only one or two people call the upset, those predictions are worth double. It is the multiplier that stops a season of safe picks ending in a nine-way tie — and it is why predicting against the consensus finally pays.
Is a Ligue 1 prediction league gambling?
No. There is no money staked, no odds, and no payouts — members compete for points and the leaderboard only. It is a social game, not a sportsbook, which is why offices, schools and family groups use it.

Yes. You can join at any point in the season and start predicting from the next fixture. Missed matches simply score zero, so late joiners start behind but can still climb. Organizers often start a fresh mini-league in January for exactly this reason.
